Yeah I don't even need to compare the two. All I know is that I love having both. And I agree, best combo since we dumped Cooper over 20 mil.
And you hope they continue to feed off one another.

Lamb seems to be embracing it, but I was kinda worried to be honest.

This is what we thought about Parsons though.
You do realize they're completely different situations,

Parsons was gonna be a cowboy until he wasn't, Everything Jerry said was true, but Jerry even had a line he drew, the line at all the antics the stuff going on laying on tables the crap attitude at training camp practices the stuff he was saying on social media and the fact that he demanded a trade, he kept raising the price shortening the years, all the crap,

yes both sides were equally responsible for the breakup, this was a bad divorce, but they meant what they said everybody up until about 72 hours before the trade thought Parsons was going to be here and all this was posturing until it wasn't.

Don't you find it odd that you only pick the one time and the only time Jerry has ever let a homegrown drafted player like Parsons get away, refused to overpay, and cave, it's the first time since he owned the team that he's done this, and now all of a sudden it's what you're using as an argument?

That is not usually how Jerry does it, how about this amari Cooper was brought in here with a 1st round pick when his contract came up they paid him eventually traded him, but that's just the business of the NFL getting a 5th round pick people are still upset about that but I see guys like Deandre Hopkins get flat out cut, because they couldn't even get a 5th round pick ,when he was with the Cardinals and he's still a good player or was at the time you take what you can take but Jerry does usually pay his guys when he likes them parsons the only exception it's not the norm it is the exception it's an anomaly....

So let's be real here,

The only reason George Pickens won't be here is if he asked for too much money there isn't a blank check principle here that's not how it works there's a salary cap we already have a highly paid WR 1, he can't want what he can get paid elsewhere, that's why I don't think he's staying, he's gonna do what Parsons did, if he's franchise tag and tried to be held here against his will, he will do exactly the same thing and the Cowboys will have to take a first round pick for him, and let him walk because, I believe he can get at least 36 million and be the hero somewhere else,

why would he not want to leave?

The franchise tag is only around $28 million and I don't think he'll accept that he just won't sign it, he'll hold out and we'll be back in the same position with Parsons ,it's best to put a first round tender on him franchise tag him, let him see what he's worth, you can either match it or you can take the draft picks, and go into the draft and replace him...

But at both parties Want to remain together, then they'll find a way to compromise parsons was not compromising he was demanding an unprofessional and yes I realized Jerry was part of the whole mess in the circus, but he pushed even Jerry beyond the point I've ever seen and Jerry's actually using that money in those draft picks very well..

So,

if George Pickens wants to be here and say play for $29.5 million give him a nice guarantee give him a three to four year contract he'll be here but if he pushes for more than that then he'll be gone and I don't think it'll be Jerry's fault you can't blame Jerry for not wanting to pay $70+ million for two wide receivers on the same team...

I think Williams is better, just not sure he's worth 10 if someone like Dowdle can be had for about half the price.

They're both FA's though so it'll be interesting to see what the market looks like, I think we should be able to keep Williams for something like 2/16.
I agree I think you'd offer the guy 6 to 8 million because you have to keep in mind he's a power back he likes contact he's had issues before with injuries you cannot have too long a contract for too much money with too many guarantees for a guy like him...

I'd say you can offer him say three years 24 million the first two years fully guaranteed or something along that line then that feels comfortable if he pushes it beyond that just like this year he's seen resurgence and guys like Dobbins and Williams you can go get another running back if you keep building your offensive line and keep blocking schemes friendly then we could probably find a couple of running backs that can do this job i'm not saying I don't want him to stay but you can't overpay to keep him here..IMHO

Parsons went scorched earth in an unprecedented way though, it was just a rare set of circumstances with the personal Jerry relationship/negotiation and all that.

Theoretically that could happen with Pickens I guess but it seems unlikely.

Isn't it the same agent?

Yes but that was only part of the issue.

The main thing to me was that it got way too personal, starting with their relationship itself, and without that element I don't think either side would've gotten as dug in as they did in August.

It's possible that the agent and Jerry just refuse to do business together going forward, but I can't imagine a world where there is a relationship between Jerry/Pickens like there was with Parsons to complicate things.

I heard it's a George Pickens conspiracy He purposely taken CD lamb out getting him hammered that way he'd have a better game than him...sly dude... I heard George was drinking them fake shots while he was feeding lamb those real ones....:drool
I don't know how these guys can do it and play a game at an elite level. Maybe I could when I was 24. But at 40? Staying out until 730 am? I'd be dead the next day. Certainly not capable of outrunning anyone or catching a ball coming at me hot.

You may not remember all the stories but Lawrence Taylor and other guys did this all the time N Dallas 40 the old Dallas teams they partied all the time how about Broadway Joe you know where he got his name right I mean with the Jets dude stayed out all night... Lots of these dudes did drugs hard drugs back then before there was any real drug testing and whatnot they were doing steroids like this was like party era and they made sure they were there and all these functions doing just that..

So yeah apparently it happens Guys like Lawrence Taylor just did more bumps you know during the game Hollywood Henderson all these guys like this is not new back then if there were social media none of these guys would have got away with any of this but a lot of these rules in place now were because of that in the old ways of the NFL.....

Yeah I believe it would be tough but there are videos out there of guys like puking on the field because of their partying ways but then they just get right back up and make a big play..
