Not saying he's the best candidate possible, but he is a tie to our latest good years (key here of course) and the players probably like him.

And I wouldn't blame this year on him. He's just a scapegoat to appease the fans. Their QB is hurt, and like Simp has said they're old and not really that talented.

Plus they lost boozestrong for the year

I do agree he's a scapegoat. I don't believe for a second that Quinn hasn't had a heavy hand on that defense prior to now.

But I don't think Whitt looks like a miracle worker either which as of right now is what we need.

I'd also kind of prefer a guy we're not familiar with. That doesn't have a history of working out well for us for the most part.

I'd never bring Whitt in as a DC, he could be a DB coach though since our guys seem to be morons.

I'd rather get Al Harris if we're bringing back old guys.

Nike is well on their way to having NFL teams not even wearing their actual colors. Just like NBA and MLB. :puke

Far be it for me to defend the NFL but something tells me PFT isn't giving us the whole story here.
A ton of reputable people are reporting the same thing. The owners are being little sissies about being criticized publicly.

Fair enough. It is pretty consistent with how this current NFL regime has consistently behaved.

It just strikes me as absurd that pft would report this as "the rich and powerful don't like to be criticized" as if both sides aren't extremely rich and powerful. This NFL regime is a bunch of bitches but this isn't a power dynamic thing.

Exactly, this is just Florio virtue signaling like he always does as some kind of "man of the people."

"The People" in this case being a league of multi-millionaires with the highest-paid representation. The old oppressor-oppressed worldview doesn't really work in this case no matter how often he tries to push it.

So do we want the Skins to win? Don't want them getting too high a pick.

Crazy, I think of Miami as one of the very worst teams in the league, and they've won as many games as we have.
