Maybe he meant up the receiver's back? And then the post-selection interview, Claiborne talking about how he wanted to get better and keep climbing and climbing...
Can't believe we drafted Mr. 4-on-the-Wonderlic with Fletcher Cox there for the taking and tossed in the pick we'd have used to draft Bobby Wagner in the 2nd round. And then the post-selection interview, Claiborne talking about how he wanted to get better and keep climbing and climbing...
Ummmmmmm, no.
GM should have been run out of town! Can't believe we drafted Mr. 4-on-the-Wonderlic with Fletcher Cox there for the taking and tossed in the pick we'd have used to draft Bobby Wagner in the 2nd round.
Ahem. Mr Super Bowl champion with a Wonderlic 4. Put some respect on that nameCan't believe we drafted Mr. 4-on-the-Wonderlic with Fletcher Cox there for the taking and tossed in the pick we'd have used to draft Bobby Wagner in the 2nd round.
Yes. When we traded up and it was clear we wouldn’t be taking DeCastro, Cox is who I wanted. Most of us wanted DeCastro if I'm remembering right, prior to the stupid trade up.
I remember you fervently hoping we were targeting DeCastro when we traded up, then utterly pissed when we took the CB, and finally stunned that we traded a 2nd round pickYes. When we traded up and it was clear we wouldn’t be taking DeCastro, Cox is who I wanted.
I mean in hindsight trading up for Cox would have been worth every penny. But that's pure hindsight. After we took Claiborne, Philly traded up for Cox, so there's a good chance they would've leapfrogged us anyway had we stayed put.
Dude might shake the rust 0ff before the season ends.
