Should be an interesting week in Norman for Venables.

I think this is the year they finally get rid of their OL coach. This is the type of performance that costs coaches their jobs. They fired Mike Stoops after that embarrassing 2018 Red River Rivalry game. I wouldn't be opposed to them having Bedenbaugh clean out his office this week before they head to S. Carolina next weekend.

The OL is by far the worst unit on this team. They've been bad for 5 years. It's time for a change.

As always I know nothing about the inner workings, but I see OU people say Bedenbaugh can't be fired because he's due a big buyout or he has this great recruiting class or other reasons. But the OL sucks year after year. I don't get it.

Every year I see them sign 4 and 5 star OL and every year those lineman perform poorly. That tells me the issue is more than likely coaching and scheme related.

Even if we lost some of the top recruits after firing him, a better OL coach could turn 3-star linemen into a better unit than Bedenbaugh's.

The speed in which he turns programs around is breathtaking.
