Indeed, over a series of terrible passes. Reed’s footwork is God awful. Every throw is off balance, with or without pressure.
And funny enough that was one of his better throws because he put it in the perfect spot to allow the TE to make a play on it.

Agreed. But his passes have been all over the place all night because he never sets his feet when he throws. Everything is off balance and/or jumping to the side.

Yeah I was joking. Just an example of another QB who was highly rated, fell off and is in a new place trying ti get back to where he once was. It really feels like college football has become hard to pinpoint those franchise QBs who stay at one school and dominate for a few years. There is just so much instability in college football.

Take LSU for example. They went from a team who had to outscore everyone but had a badass offense to a team that now is winning because of great defense. Kind of crazy.

I'm sure by the end of the season there will emerge some really good QB prospects. I'm just not sure who yet. And some of them I'll probably hate and believe are overhyped.

Not really sure we are in the QB market yet anyway. Probably another year away from even considering it.

No offense to the TTU contingent, but I love how Utah plays, definitely rooting for them as a dark horse to make the playoff. Very well coached, hardnosed on both sides of the ball, Fano is going to be a top 10 pick.
I've long thought Whittingham was one of the best coaches in college football. Not sure why he stayed there all those years, except I guess he just likes it there.

Utah hasn't played anybody yet of course, but they're averaging nearly 300 yards per game rushing.

That'd be impressive even if they were playing some sort of HS all star team every week.
And our front 7 is one of the best in the nation. Should be a good game.

Look who's finally starting to buy in.

:lol

Some media members who actually follow CFB were high on them this summer, so I figured they'd at least get to the Big 12 title game.

Huh? I have been following their recruiting for months. I bought in a while ago. And have said so in this thread since week 1.

After the Micah trade went down I remember saying at least I still have CFB and you not sounding too enthusiastic about Tech this year.

Maybe I'm mistaken.

I don't remember that, but maybe I'm mistaken. I highly doubt it though.

That’s why I’d strongly consider trading away one of our first round picks in 2026 to lock down a third first rounder in 2027.

That’s a great idea.
