I'm guessing the field was slippery so I'd actually give him a pass on that. Our guys never seem prepared for turf conditions in the weather.

Like I said it's hard to call it a bad game when he caught 7 balls for 110 yards and got open on at least 4 others that were dropped. The guy easily could have been at 10+ catches and 150+ yards. But the 3 really bad drops were inexplicable. You fall down once because of bad footing, shit happens. You lay out for a grab and the ground jars the ball out, totally understandable. But his eye coordination catching the ball was way off last night.

I didn't see that and I highly doubt it, but that's what they're saying.

They showed it on one of the espn shows. He was standing in front of 2 linemen and he leaned forward and spit between them so he wouldn’t spit on their shoes I suppose, but it was in the direction of Carter but it wasn’t AT him.

Yeah Carter wasn't anywhere close to Dak when that happened. But I guess Carter was standing on our side of the line of scrimmage when Dak did that. I think he was trying to do that jackass move where he stands next to the huddle to overhear shit. But it wasn't anywhere close to Carter. Carter was just acting like an out of control jackass. That guy has a screw lose. He always had. It's why he dropped in the draft. But Suh also had a screw lose so sometimes it works for defensive lineman. Charles Haley was a little coo coo as well.

Did the eagles play any starters in the preseason? I don't actually know.

But if they didn't, then we can't blame this loss on rust.

Cant find a definite yes or no but the articles that I did see say that the HC doesnt like to and has scaled it back from the start. Another article said that last year they didn't play a snap all preseason. I doubt he changed his mind so safe tonsay that they dont play.

Dak spit on the ground while Carter was a few yards away.

The way Dak described it, Carter was walking towards the Dallas huddle trying to mess with Booker. Dak came out of the huddle to spit on the ground and that kicked things off.

My take is Carter had no business coming near the Dallas huddle. Dak saw him trying to mess with the rookie and spit on the ground and looked up smiling at Carter to take his attention off the rookie. Carter reacted with spitting on Dak which nobody should do.
