The absolute dumbest thing they could do is sit on their hands and pout.

Either give him a long-term deal or trade him for as much as you can get, which should be significant.

Knowing these idiots I'm sure they'll go with the "dumbest thing imaginable" route and think they're geniuses because they can tag him two years in a row.

Going to be sad when DiNooooch looks good against us.

So are the Cowboys going to let any starters see the light of day? Or is the best we can hope for in terms of starters Booker and Beebe?
That's the best you can hope for and I wouldn't even be surprised if neither of them play against Atlanta.

The best you can hope for are the borderline starter types like Kneeland, Liufau, Williams and I guess Mazi/Toia/Winfrey?

Three firsts and it's done. I'll take my shot that Drake Maye isn't a winner.
Yea that's a no-brainer, in that scenario we might damn well end up with both a QB in someone like Klubnik or Manning and a generational position prospect like Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, Dylan Stewart or Colin Simmons.

I think Smith, Williams, Stewart and Simmons might all be the top ranked non-QB in the 2026 class if they were eligible, assuming they build on what they did as freshmen.

It'll never happen though, I doubt a team like New England would give up three 1's and I also would be shocked if Jerry traded Parsons in the end.

Did you bother noticing that Hurts barely ever threw the ball more than 20 times a game in the playoffs last year?

That's a massive outlier, Aikman routinely had 30-35 pass attempts a game 30+ years ago.

Aikman averaged 28 a game for his career.

He averaged over 30 in the playoffs if you exclude the games where he was knocked out early or didn't play the entire time.

And that was 30+ years ago, 30 pass attempts back then is probably the equivalent of about 35 now with how much more passing there is, and even still there's a huge difference between 20 and 28.

I'd take that in a heartbeat.
100%. I mean, what do we have to lose? We’re not going to the Super Bowl whether Micah is here or not.

Use the first rounders to rebuild the team with a generation type quarterback and quality defensive player.

The entire UFL is our farm team.
You cannot argue that they haven't got bang for the buck out of Aubrey and Turpin. They got a little out of Josh Butler. It has yet to be seen on Winfrey. About the only bust was LB Willie Harvey.
