I don't see why Micah would lie about that.

It's not like we haven't seen this team act petty and retarded before (the whole Amari situation for example), even to the detriment to the team.
Yeah I appreciate that all this closed door, who is telling the truth stuff can be put to rest. I believe everything in Parson's letter. The dude isn't a liar. And I absolutely believe what he says is exactly how this fucked up organization operates.

One of the funny things is that it's been like a week since they reported to camp, feels like Micah has really worked himself into a shoot with this stuff, even if the organization is completely absurd.

If he had just kept his distance I doubt he'd be as emotional as he is now.

I don't either, unless his agent wasn't telling him the whole story, which I could see being possible.

If Watkins is right that it was Jerry who wanted to wait, I wonder why. Unless it's something stupid like the time value of money and getting ROI on it as long as possible. Which it probably is.

I agree.

Watkins did say Micah didn't like Stephen's line that Micah had to want to get paid, so he called Stephen personally to tell him that and Goof Son apologized.

Another reason these dipshits should keep their mouths shut.

The thing with Micah is he wants to be out there practicing with his teammates. Just a dude who loves football. He'd play every preseason snap too if you'd let him. So I'm sure sitting out right now is killing him. No answer, response or anything from the Cowboys is killing him. And so like a girl that you don't call back, this is his cry for attention. He wants to play football and he knows if he is traded he can be out on the field tomorrow with a new contract.

Will this work and he gets traded? Nah they won't do that. But it probably will spark a contract getting done with the Cowboys.

Do you know how much you can get on a 3.5% fixed rate CD with the $120M guaranteed that they'd have to give Parsons?

And what if he blows out his knee tomorrow? Best we just wait a little longer before we pay him.

Jerry has become extremely risk adverse in his old age. And these top of the market deals freak him the fuck out because there is a risk that the player gets hurt and is never the same player he was before the deal was signed.

Making a trade request is one thing, publicly airing out dirty laundry is something else, and it's why if I had to bet right now, I'd bet on him being traded.

If it was just a silent trade request, whatever, that happens all the time, but personally posting something like this breaks trust.

If they end up working out a deal over the next month he's going to have to publicly apologize and basically embark on some sort of PR campaign to sweep this under the rug.

I hope instead it's Stephen having to publicly apologize to him... I'd say Jerry but we know that the devil doesn't apologize for his work ever.
