Why is this stupid?

I just want to see the dance.
How is what CBS did any different from what any other network does, including FOX, Newsmax, One America, etc... They only caved so that his puppet FCC director will allow the merger with Skydance.

And it's very contradictory on its face. Trump alleged that the editing of the interview made her look so good that it was worth what, $20B. There is no editing that could ever take place that would make her look even $20 better.

You seriously don't see the difference? Doing an interview with a presidential candidate and then editing their answers before televising doesn't give you a little concern? I'd say it's vastly different then what we see on news networks on a daily basis. They may portray a slanted view. But editing an event to portray something that didn't happen and present it as what actually happened is a pretty scary thing.

I mean, if she gives an absolutely idiotic answer to a question and they edit in an answer she gave to a different question just to make her look competent, how is that not worth $20?

You do realize they also showed the other cut that same day, right? EVERY INTERVIEW IS EDITED IN SOME WAY UNLESS IT’S SHOWN LIVE. Same thing could be said about the interview Trump did with FOX where they edited his answer to his question as to whether he would release the Epstein files. F’n A man… And if you don’t think this whole thing stinks of extortion then I don’t know what else to say to you.

If that’s the case what’s the going rate for the completely asinine answers Trump gave all last year?

When did a major network actually edit in an answer to a different question to make him look better?

And if someone edited them maybe they wouldn't be so asinine. Sort of what election interference looks like. I can't believe anyone actually can twist themselves up to try to defend this.

Always good for a laugh.

:lol
I mean good is good and bad is bad. What I don't understand is when someone dislikes a person so much that they force themselves to defend awful behavior by someone else because it somehow shows that Trump was right. I absolutely do think that the media should be held accountable in situations like these. And even more strictly when you're talking about a Presidential Election. I'm not sure 20 mil is enough to even deter them in the future unfortunately. I'm sure they happily would have sacrificed 20 mil if Trump wasn't sitting in the Whitehouse right now as a result.

You don't even realize that you are doing the same thing, it's just that you hate anything liberal so bad you are willing to defend Trump's extortion, etc.

A drop in the bucket compared to what FOX had to shell out for the voting machines story.
