They will just buy off the short timers, though. It might help a little, I don't know, but it's not like the lobbyists will stop paying people.

What I don't like is when if you finally get a really good Senator or Rep, you'd have to replace them. And the next guy might not be nearly as good.

I guess it would help some of the really bad ones from staying in forever just on name recognition, though.

First of all, to make it that far in politics, at the very least, you have to be a lying scumbag piece of shit.

And after years in DC, you become much, much worse.

This is the fucking problem with Congress. Approval ratings as a body always in the gutter. But everyone thinks the guy or gal they voted for is GREAT!!!

Term limits would be amazing if nothing else to get rid of the fucking low life scum that make a career there when it was meant to be a duty. Something you really didn't want to do, but you did it anyway. Like jury duty.
