Jerruh: AI is amazing. We were able to not be surprised by how the picks went before us and were able to talk about our situation without being rushed.

Jerruh: Mingo's 4.3, Mingo was a 2nd rounder for us, yet Mingo is new to us and we're new to Mingo still. The odds of that rookie WR or Mingo of being what we want them to be, we like Mingo's odds better so that let's us get a cornerback.

Jerruh: First of all, I don't want to make an evaluation but we thought and evaluated Shadeur extremely high in this draft. Obviously, we have highest paid Dak.....I have an edge. I know winners is what he's got in his bloodline, so with my first hand knowledge/relationnship with Deion, Iv'e watched 2 or 3 games with his son, I know the character of his son and boy it is great character. Winning character for sports. So I can tell you that, I can't tell you how many scouts have visited me, but the character of the Sanders family is great. I'm a huge believer in osmosis and when Deion came to sign with us as FA after San Fran, we were at the stadium to announce his signing. We went to the lockerroom and there were lots of suits types and there's Deion with his boy - not sure which child - and 30 minutes before the presser to announce Deionn as a Cowboy, all Deion did was play with that boy inthe locker room. Wasn't talking with the guys. It was so genuine. I was thinkinng, that's a real telltale. So I stand at the top of the list with Deion and I know it's not far from the tree with Shadeur. So you ask 'where are you Jerry' and with Dak, we're there. So that's there. But if the phonnes line up, it'll be first hand from me for years and years, not just once or twice, with the great character of the Sanders family.

SOM: After taking care of the football and takeaways, controlling the LOS is important. It's where the game of footballl is played. Many games are one-score games. Taking care of the LOS is what we believe in and we added two good pieces.

Rosie: With Mingo and Jalen Tolbert, Flournay....they have #2 WR potential but haven't hit it yet. We have an interest in filling it but as you reach later rounds, the guys we have in the room already fill that. That's the way we look at it. If we don't come away from the draft with an obvious #2, we'll take a look at that but we'll look at the guys in the room we have.
Schotty: We're deep at WR. With rookie WRs, there's a learning curve. But look at the guys we have in the room - Tolbert led team in TDs. It's not always easy to plug and play a WR, but we're never done looking.
It's true, at this point I don't really see the need to take a WR unless it's a BPA type situation.

But any WR they take from here on out is probably 50/50 at best to even make the roster, at least one of these RB's could end up being a starter given the depth of the position.

Jerruh: Philadelphia was down and now they're up. I know this. 12 months ago, we're sitting here winning the division and the head-to-head, but I don't look at a far apart action with Philadelphia and I respect them as much as anyone. Injuries hurt us last year. We didn't quite get what we wanted from some rookie lineman. I've got a few reasons why we weren't as good as we thought we'd be. ~points to SOM~ We've got this guy now. So I like all that. The adjustments we're making. That's not an excuse. Cuz everyone gets hurt, but I'm hoping Dak has better health this year. Our pass rush with Lawrence and Micah and Sam Williams won't be as hurt. You gotta think like that, but people have to live what you got and we lliked what we had.

Rosie: He might not be able to go Day One, training camp. But he was right there with Ezeirauku. We weren't necessarily thinkning we were going pass rusher but we were sitting there and it was obvious that it was the thing to do. We last year ended up with our top 4 or 5 pass rushers injured. You can't have enough of those guys. To reiterate SOM, you can't have enough of those guys.

Rosie: Revel was there at #44 but Ezeirauku was higher quite a bit on our board. There was quite a difference between those two players on our board.

I'd take two RBs. They get hurt. I'd take 2 DTs too.

And I agree about receiver. There are guys that would still be better than what we have. But by the fifth or sixth round? Probably not much different than the Flournoy's, Brooks, Tolbert, Mingo types. We are just kind of fucked at receiver unless we do something after the draft. Keenan Allen limping around maybe?

I feel bad for McClay and Schottenheimer having to deal with these two dipshits.

I really do think that McClay or our scouts have quirks that they need to figure the fuck out. If play makers on offense are just never near the top of your board, then maybe the problem is you're not rating certain positions correctly at all.

while I agree that the first thing an nfl team should start when building a team is a great OL and DL line, it only works if the team also uses free agency wisely and grabs playmakers when available to supplement the process. The problem is this dumbass organization won’t do shit in free agency and will still have holes going into the season only plugged with jags instead legit playmakers

Al the groaning and growling really doesn’t matter about who was drafted and who wasn’t. The same situation still exists with the Cowboys roster. Prescott is still the starting QB. Never mind he was injured (and maybe still is) but there was never any move to solve that problem and go for a replacement now while there was some good choices . Yeah I know they are hamstrung due to his strangle hold on the Cowboys budget but things are just tabled for another year as long as Dak has the strangle hold on the franchise.
