Well, the last time Republicans “protested”, they unlawfully broke into federal buildings, brandished weapons, assaulted police, and wanted to hang Mike Pence. So, it’s not like they aren’t capable of violence, either. The fact is that both sides are fucking lunatics, and that’s what your political overlords want. Pit people against each other while they collectively violate the Constitution and strip us of our liberty.

The difference is the media portrayal. January sixth gets hammered as 6 officers being killed and the over throw of government.

Tesla being burned down gets portrayed as, well people don't like Musk for firing everyone.

They found pipe bombs in the area. I’d consider those “serious”. And, I have a strong feeling that many of you would carry on relentlessly if it were Democrats who did that on 6 January.

And, by no means am I apologizing for or discounting Tesla shops being burned down. It’s deplorable. But I also won’t brush off what a collection of cultist lunatics did on January 6th. Breaking into a federal building (or any building, for that matter) is a felony. If people claim to “support law and order”, then support it. Don’t be hypocrites.

Both are/were wrong, and anyone associated with either should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. There is no justification for mob rule and violence like that.

I mean, Kamala Harris walked right by one of them. If this had been some Trump supporter, the media would have had that on an endless loop before the election (and the three years before that). Even a Never Trumper like Irv should admit that.

But for some reason, that story practically vanished. Weird. Wonder why that would be.
