That was awesome.

I was not aware of this but there's all kinds of metal genres - pirate metal, Viking metal, etc. So this doesn't surprise me.

I saw a band once that had a ship wheel and spun it to determine which song they would play next. They dressed and spoke like pirates. ("Argh, this next song be called Walk the Plank.")

It was fun watching the lead singer order beers at the bar before their spot dressed like a pirate.
