Cyberpunk is now a B+ game. It’s not a mess anymore. It has great gunplay mechanics.

But the story and acting aren’t good enough (as the Witcher was), nor is the open world good enough (like GTA/RDR/Elder Scrolls are) to vault it to the A-grade range or all-timer status.

it’s worth a play if you’ve beaten the all timer games. Not one that you’ll keep installed forever though.

The new Indiana Jones game is surprisingly good. I'm still early on in it but I'm liking it.

Graphics are good, Indiana feels like Indiana, it has a feel like one of the classic movies.

It's sort of open world - you can do one of several quests available at any time, but they're all related to the main quest basically, though it makes sense in context. You can go anywhere but so far you are confined to one country at a time, and you aren't particularly rewarded for exploring.

But overall it's well done, feels like one of the movies, feels like the 1930s, and so far zero woke nonsense.

Gives me hope for Bethesda.

Yeah, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Unfortunately, us Playstation folks have to wait till Q1 2025 to play it.

I have both. And a gaming PC.

And a steamdeck.
I just don't have the time to use all of that. A PC and PS5 are enough for me. Although I could see a portable option to play while hanging out with the kids... They want to go to the park? No problem honey, meanwhile I play video games while they entertain themselves.

I would say it’s probably a bit of overkill to have both a PS5 and an Xbox. But games are by far best on PC if you can swing it, consoles for ease/convenience and exclusives, and the Steam deck is for mobile.

I started to play it, I actually find it to be pretty damn fun. It's not a super long game and the side missions can become a bit repetitive. But with games like this I find myself progressing to a certain point and then doing side stuff instead of beating it. Just feel like once I finish the storyline I move on to another game.

I also find myself impressed at the level of cussing and child inappropriateness of it. Reminds me that they aren't afraid of nudity or cussing and I appreciate it as a 40 year old still playing video games.

There are parts that are super fun. The hacking mixed with gunplay is awesome. I never got into the sword and melee stuff, but the way you can arc bullets around obstacles, or punch through walls, etc, it's all super cool and the graphics of it are great (explosions, sound recording of weapons, etc).

But the open world and side stuff were far too generic.

So, Grok apparently has made a video game.

Won't be too long before AI will be making full scale triple-A titles.
