And coaching under Moore
And coaching under Moore
Jesus it's depressing to see some dude who looks 10 years younger then me getting a job like that.
Douche hair GM.

If Carr has a bad year, would they possibly want...
At least Schottenheimer was a better HC hire than Moore would have been.
Prescott necromancing the Saints would be pretty nice.If Carr has a bad year, would they possibly want...
Damn that was Al Davis-like quick.
If you identify that it's going nowhere at all, no need to prolong it.Didn't they just hire him?
Hard to do with a raw rookie QB in my opinion. If you identify that it's going nowhere at all, no need to prolong it.
I wish more teams did this.

For sure.Hard to do with a raw rookie QB in my opinion.
It's definitely early and there are plenty of examples of guys who I thought got a raw deal and weren't given enough time to try and change things around.Yeah true. I don't know what the behind the scenes stuff was like but not even a year and a half seems crazy.
Yeah, I'm not really a Titans guy and have watched zero games this year. It takes time to build a culture and certainly it takes time to build talent on a roster that has almost no talent. But yeah you can sometimes see a coach who is just way over his head at an early stage. So maybe behind the scenes that sort of thing is obvious. But in terms of on the field performance and wins and losses it's too early to make the decision in my opinion. Even if the team looks like shit on the field I just think that can't be reason enough to fire a guy this quickly. For sure.
And I'll be honest and say that I haven't really paid attention to the Titans, so I'm not totally up to speed on what's going on there.
However, just generally speaking, sometimes it's not too early to do something like this just based on how a team looks. If the energy is bad and the players clearly aren't buying in, the coaching decisions are head-scratching, and the losses are piling up? I don't think you need to give that particular coach more time to "figure it out".
That's just a bad situation that isn't going to get any better, so you might as well cut your losses early into it.
Whether or not this applies specifically to Callahan, that I don't know, but again, I was just speaking generally about making a coaching change soon into their tenure.
