Props to Texas for showing heart and pulling out a win that I didn't think they had in them.

I thought it was over when they went to OT, and I really thought it was over when they let Leavitt pick up 17 on that scramble.

I hope that for the next game, at the very least, give Manning a series here and there.

We have next to no downfield passing game with Ewers and watching the offense labor again vs either Oregon or Ohio State isn't going cut it.

Ohio State is fine as long as they don’t play a team with toughness. They’re a finesse team. If you don’t play them tough, they’ll mop the floor with you because they have the highest payroll/roster in college football. They fold like the paper tigers they are if you punch them in the mouth.

Oregon has a good system for QBs. It's doesn't really tell you much about the talent of the QB though.

Saw this and wondered, have they had any decent NFL quarterbacks? Googled it, and at first all I saw were guys like Joey Harrington and Akili Smith. Had to go all the way back to Dan Fouts to find a successful Oregon QB.
