The only thing I worry about with Carter is his frame seems a bit thin. That could be a problem for a team that already struggles to stop the run.
I'm not worried. He doesn't look soft to me. He looks like he has the full ability to run around or through a lineman.

Now you start talking Pierce Jr and I may have those concerns.

Not sure I'm really looking for a Nic Scourton type.

How about if we're picking "too high" we just trade back some and take the Michigan DL.

We could use an extra 3rd or whatever anyway.

The Giants and Cowboys are the two worst teams in the NFC once David Carr returns. We are in Raiders, Browns, and Jags territory.

With the exception of the Giants and Raiders I at least see talent on those other teams

I was thinking about my stance on the Cowboys possibly trading Parsons and one thing came to mind that has softened my stance on moving on from Parsons.

That thing is Jerry Jones. With his track record in trades, I could honestly see the Cowboys trading Parsons away for a 3rd round pick and a conditional 6th rounder in the 2026 draft.

I'm not up to speed on the dynamics of this year's draft. But a good draft guru could make things happen in this scenario. Personally, it's not a risk I'd take this time around.

Shit, the Panthers are going to hand it to the Giants.
