Craig Morton probably holds dubious distinction for worst SB QB all-time

Morton was solid, I don't think that's remotely true.

Worse super bowl QBs off the top of my head:

Kerry Collins
Stan Humphries
Jeff Hostetler
Tony Eason
David Woodley
Rex Grossman
Chris Chandler
Trent Dilfer
Frank Reich

I'm probably missing some.

Yeah. Rice is going to be an issue if left by himself.

To clarify, worst QB performance in the SB.

vs Baltimore V
12/26, 127 yards, 1TD, 3INT. QB Rating 34.1

vs Dallas XII
4/15, 39 yards, 0TD, 4INT. QB Rating 0.0

You're talking specifically about performance?

Roethlisberger was pretty bad in his first super bowl but I don't think that's the same thing as the worst super bowl QB.

I don't know the stats for everyone so I can't say for sure but yeah those Morton stats are very bad.

Those were all one off one year wonders.

Morton choked in SB V and SB XII.

Both were bad and he was part of why his teams lost. People forget the Broncos game was all about his cowardice as much as it was about the ferocity of Doomsday.

to this day, he might be the only starting SB QB to be benched for poor performance

I'm in favor of this.

It was always strange to me why the media was allowed to into the locker rooms while these guys were fricking naked.

There is no good reason whatsoever to allow the media back there while these guys are exposed or subject those players to being interviewed under those conditions.

Talk about something that I'm surprised wasn't changed long ago. Who the hell thought this was a good idea in the first place?

I've always thought this was weird. I thought a bunch of dudes taking showers together was really weird. I guess at least there you could at least argue that they didn't have the money to build individual showers or something.

There is some kind of old-school thinking where it isn't as weird, though. I remember some old baseball writers talking about how various managers would come into their office buck-ass naked for their postgame interviews and just start talking to the reporters like it was no big deal.

What was it like back in the 80’s or early 90’s there was some chick that either was suing the NFL to be able to do her interviews in the Patriots locker room or was sexually harassed by one of the players… can’t remember exactly what the situation was
