The federal govt can incentivize all they want, the skilled labor nor the white collar labor is out there to keep up the demand in place now let alone 3 million more homes under govt supervision.
Yeah that's a problem. We push every kid to college. And a kid with a college degree thinks skilled labor is somehow beneath them. And I agree on the inspectors part. Local government regulation really slows the building process when trying to build a home.

Another problem is you can push a kid to college and then they can lay drunk for 15 years before they get their shit together. :unsure

Mortgages sure. Rent seems harsh.
It seems harsh, but if you aren’t here through a farm labor program or a work visa, we should make your stay as uncomfortable as possible.

They shouldn’t be driving demand in any way. Demand causes the rest of us to pay higher prices. Forget that shit.

Don’t you want $6 Big Mac meals again?

Seeing that he doesn’t enact federal law, he has no ability to do any of that. It’s just another bullshit statement to get votes and then do nothing about the issue once in office. The same as his “mass deportation” crap. Seeing the illegal immigrants don’t exactly advertise that they’re here, there’s little to no way to find out who they are - let alone deport them - without violating the 4th Amendment of the Constitution.

It's no different than any other candidate.

Agreed. But that’s why you don’t see me pushing any of that empty fucking rhetoric that’s tossed around here multiple times a day.

Yep, the only difference is Trump actually did a lot of shit he promised.
Other than lying about the wall, lowering taxes, reducing spending, being pro 2A, and being an expert in foreign relations.

So it's his fault if the assholes in congress won't do anything?

E-Verify is crucial, with stiff penalties for companies that employ illegals.

The Republicans controlled Congress for the first 2 years of his administration. And, for all of the things that he bloviates about the President being able do unilaterally, then he should’ve done them when he was in office before. But he didn’t, because the Government doesn’t work that way. So, he just openly lies to the public, and folks around here lap it up like mindless dogs.

Regrettably, most of his accomplishments were via executive order, making it easy for Biden to undo them.
And given the ever-growing abuse of executive orders from each administration, it would be nice if Congress got involved and put something in place to restrict them to help prevent Presidents from circumventing the Constitution.

Now this I agree with.
