Reich is one of the stupidest MFers ever.

How about taking 100% from them? Wouldn't that be a great idea?
People don't get it. Taxing the big businesses more won't fix anything. Those tax rates kill off the small businesses trying to grow bigger to compete with the big boys. All you really do with these taxes is kill off the competition which then in turn lends itself to price gouging. Those big business don't have some owner making a killing off them. They have CEO's getting 10 figure bonuses that reduce their "profit."

Do you think Walmart paying a bunch of taxes is going to somehow help the small man? Of course not. But when you tax the mom and pop shop down the street in the same fashion they have no means to grow. And that does actually hurt people.

I hate how fucking dumb people are though. There is a large percentage of the population that thinks this somehow will benefit them! Make the rich guys pay!!!!!!!! I doubt than any of these people have taken or could pass an economics course.

The left hate small businesses - always have - so it's a double benefit for them: put small entrepreneurs out of business and concentrate more power in the big businesses (which they can control), plus sell bad policy that sounds good to uneducated voters.

Pick one:

1. Zuckerberg penned that letter yesterday to the judiciary committee because he thinks it’s so late in the game that the dems are going to win the White House and majorities in the house and senate and they won’t go after him.

2. Zuckerberg came clean to get ahead of information the judiciary committee was going to find because he fears that republicans will take all 3 branches and he doesn’t want to be left holding his dick in his hand.

I saw a clip earlier from Charlie Kirk asking this question. It crossed my mind yesterday as I read the letter.

This letter makes no sense and it’s only damaging to the Biden administration. It’s at least on par if not more damaging than Anthony Weiner’s laptop fiasco in 2016.

Probably more #2. I don't think that letter will move the needle for the election. Too many Americans don't pay attention to or don't care enough about that kind of thing, and if they do their attention span is too short. Think of all the crazy things that will happen in the next two months.

Kirk made a point that stuck with me. Zuckerberg and meta have information that we can’t even fathom. I tend to think he’s known who will win the election for many months. Maybe years.

I mean his algorithms are so far superior to everything else out there, he can predict trends and outcomes before they happen. As long as those trends and outcomes are based on human behavior.

I’m talking about this election. I think that letter is a clear indication that he already knows what’s coming.

I just don’t see a reason to put himself and his company when he’s spent the last several years obfuscating at every turn when it comes to silencing free speech. He’s sat in hearings and denied the very thing he admitted to yesterday.

Gotcha.

So he thinks Trump is going to win. Seems like he could do this just in case, though, even if he doesn't really "know."

Here's another angle I just thought of: we know Europe is cracking down on free speech. They just arrested the Telegram guy for not preventing "misinformation". What if Zuckerberg did this as a signal to them to say, hey, don't blame me, I was censoring the way you wanted me to.

I know you will all dismiss this off the jump. Todays world has made us all jaded. We have to assume there is some motive for self benefit behind every action. But is it possible that Zuck has a conscience and it was weighing on him? Maybe he felt like he needed to get the truth off his chest because it would make him feel better?

I wish any of that were true. I feel it's more likely you got some of Booze's chocolate though.

I mean, maybe.

It’s clear he’s jealous of all the love Elon gets for being a protector of free speech.

It’s possible he wants to reform his image of being a smarmy prick.

I mean even a murderer sometimes confesses because of his conscience.

The assumption is that he did these things as a willing participant. But the government can be scary. Maybe he finally had the balls to come clean and not be afraid.
