Why not eliminate barriers of entry and the unneccessary regulations which create and support monopolies and oligopolies? And, why not allow citizens to purchase things like medication from foreign countries, so a true free market exists? There won’t be any need for government intervention on prices because the market will lower them for us naturally.

No different then trying to fix inflation and people not being able to afford things by simply raising the minimum wage.
Good old Keynesian Economics. The utterly ludicrous idea that as long as the Government keeps spending, then the people will be better off. It’s fucking insane. Set the minimum wage at zero where it belongs, and put the onus on the market to set the pay for the positions people are hiring for. They’ll learn very quickly what someone is willing to accept for a particular job. Stop thinking that raising the floor does anything other than erode the middle class, because it doesn’t.

I do not agree with this.
You don’t have to. My position is that it’s no one’s right to dictate what another person does with their own body. That’s individual liberty. I don’t agree with abortion, but I also don’t agree with preventing a person autonomy over their own body. It’s a slippery slope, but it needs to be recognized.

Easy to say, but it's still condoning abortion. You can explain it away however you want, but it doesn't change the fact.
Abortion is a sticking point with me. It infuriates me.

Sorry, I guess I woke up and chose violence today. But that topic irks me.

It also doesn’t change the fact that it’s none of anyone’s business. I totally understand being against it and will never argue that, but I don’t like government involvement in someone’s decisions. Being anti-government doesn’t mean being anti-government until deemed otherwise.

Do you think it's the kid's business?
Exactly right.

I've never had anybody that's pro abortion explain to me why an unborn child is not yet considered a person if they are to be aborted, but they are if a pregnant woman is murdered? Regardless of how far along she is in the pregnancy. Double homicide.

I don’t give a shit how you feel about it. I’m not going to tell anyone how to feel about it, and I honestly don’t care. I’m not a scientist, and I don’t claim to know when a fertilized egg is a human being. That’s well above my pay grade. My opinion is that the best method to avoid even having to make such a decision to ensure that people have (and utilize) access to contraception. Again, I don’t agree with abortion, I’ll never agree with Government intervention, nor do I agree in controlling someone else’s life. The problem is that there is another life in question, so I don’t have a viable solution. I just don’t want the Government involved in whatever that solution is.

I agree to an extent and I do want to point out that that's not what I'm talking about when I say the left is pro choice. They are fiercely pro abortion.

As far as abortion goes, I've always been pro choice but I'm teetering further and further to pro life.

I don't want to derail this to an abortion debate so I'll stop there.

Late to the party, but she doesn't want to be confused with the Ugandan Giant.

Can't say I blame her, it's not a great look.
