Anything that involves “free” money for anything (unless it’s handouts to billionaires) is likely going to come from Democrats. How’s this as an alternative: lower the federal tax rate to 5%, remind people that FHA loans are a real thing, and go from there. Stop giving our tax money away. It’ll just drive up inflation.

The problem is that he’s so unhinged that he’s incapable of sending a clear, consistent, and professional message, which makes him very beatable in a debate. If Harris comes across as anything more than a laughing bimbo (I know that it’s a tall ask, but she’s done it before), then she’ll likely appear as a better candidate to the ignorant, mouth breathing, low information voter, than Trump will.

And, with her currently leading in MI, WI, PA, NV, AZ, and less than a point behind in GA and NC, a strong debate performance could button up her victory right then and there. In all honesty, with her current momentum, massive fundraising, and blatant media help, she’ll be very hard to beat, even though she’s a terrible candidate.
