Sounds like he’s a bit bitter that his groveling to Kamala Harris about landing a cabinet position didn’t go well. Mind you, he’s absolutely right.

This is a democrat I might consider voting for if he ever got the nomination. But he’s not nearly close enough to their established doctrine, so I doubt he ever will.
The Democrats are way better at controlling who their candidate is going to be. The Republicans don't have that ability. They are too divided as a party to essentially force a candidate into the race. Which I'm glad they don't do.This is a democrat I might consider voting for if he ever got the nomination. That's actually not how it works. The entire structure of the party is bottom up, while the the Dems are top down. The Democrats are way better at controlling who their candidate is going to be. It's really incredible what the Dems did. Republican have run sure losers before (Dole, McCain), but they never asked them to drop out in favor of someone more viable. You just taking your lickings at the ballot box and concede that it wasn't your year. If the Democrats were running against anyone other than Trump, who has unique flaws/shortcoming, I doubt they would've strong-armed Biden -- dementia or not.The Democrats are way better at controlling who their candidate is going to be. Um, really? If the Democrats were running against anyone other than Trump, who has unique flaws/shortcoming, I doubt they would've strong-armed Biden -- dementia or not.
I do. There are a lot of people who would never vote for Trump and they know that.Um, really?
So against - - in your opinion - - a stronger opponent, they'd have just let him lose?

Exactly.Yeah, I don't believe what they're doing to Trump is unique. Any Republican candidate will be demonized, doesn't matter who tf it is. Vance is not running for president but look how quickly they fired up the propaganda machine on him. He is as beyond reproach as someone can be. Came from humble beginnings, doesn't have any real dirt on him, and has middle of the road conservative values. Now he's fucking "weird" and "fucks couches," whatever the hell that means.
They have been doing this shit with every Republican candidate for more than 20 years. Trump just made it more recognizable.Exactly.
DeSantis or anyone else would be in the same boat. Remember early on when it looked like he could be the guy and left wing pieces were claiming he was worse than Trump?
And easier to exploit. They have been doing this shit with every Republican candidate for more than 20 years. Trump just made it more recognizable.
And easier to exploit.
No, it's just the opposite... it doesn't allow control, only information that can be used to expose it. Facebook/Meta created it after the backlash following the 2020 election to improve "transparency", now, just prior to the 2024 election they're shutting it down? Why would anyone want this in the first place? I don't want some tech company (or anyone else for that matter) to be the overlord of what information I'm allowed to see. I'm a fucking adult and can decide for myself what I do or don't believe.

Well, you're gonna get your wish... welcome to 2020. Personally, I don't participate in social media, so it won't affect me... but whatever the effect, it was the timing that I questioned.According to your post, this is the purpose:
"CrowdTangle is used by thousands of researchers, journalists and advocates to monitor political disinformation and hate speech on Facebook and Instagram."
I'm saying "political disinformation and hate speech" doesn't need to researched or monitored. At all.
I categorically reject the entire premise.
Had he not raised my taxes and empowered the ATF to ban bump stocks, I honestly wouldn’t give a shit about him one way or the other. He’s an immature prick and a pedophile, but so are most politicians and members of the Hollywood elite. They mounted a massive campaign against him because he was not "in the club," and how dare he usurp their authoritah. And what a wonderful job they did against him. He went from being mentioned in 270 rap songs to having tens of millions of people who hate him but CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHY THEY HATE HIM. Btw, I know your reasons, you are an exception.

Yeah, that's why they want to be able to monitor these types of information, to make sure these platforms are operating a level playing field. Now, without it, there's no way of knowing if all sides are being treated fairly. That's not what happened in 2020. Censorship happened.
Wasn't the Biden Laptop ban right before the election? That's not what happened in 2020. Censorship happened.
