That's not the point dip shit. It's basically the same not good enough team from last year and they made no real attempt to improve.

All in the name of supposedly having the cap space to pay their own players, who in turn they refuse to pay.
Two words for you from Goof Son:

Biggest things so far:

1. Jerry has done 95% of the speaking so far. Mike got one question and Stephen interjected a couple of times. Just like old times.

2. In response to another question about fan apathy, Jerry and Stephen are very proud that they had their highest and fastest rate of season ticket renewal ever. Jerry had to also point out that they were #1 (by far) in the league in that category.

It is pretty gross how emotionally unintelligent they are. The question was about the fans’ emotional response of being perpetually let down. Their reply?

Money.

God how I hate our fans, and not just "big helmet" dude. If you give Jerry one fucking dollar, you're part of the problem.

The revenue they make off of merchandise is the only way to impact them. That is part of brand marketing.

I don't own anything. Not even a jersey or replica helmet. My hands and conscience are clean.

Jerry is definitely slipping. That was the perfect avenue to slap us all with Love Field and the credit cards and he failed.

Yep. He tries to sound sympathetic to what the fans are feeling, but they can't resist going back to what really matters to them.

Like Chief said at the zzzone years ago... Jerry is the one wagging his tail in the "Dogs Playing Poker" painting.

There's still time. We're just now getting the annual "option quarterback" references.

Tim Cowlishaw says Mike and other coaches have their jobs on the line but Jerry and Stephen don't. Why is that a good idea because it doesn't seem to be working.

Of course Jerry doesn't really answer except that he's not comfortable doing it any other way.

Props for at least asking the Q though. Tim is one of the few who've been around back to the Jimmy (Landry?) days.

That's it. PC over.

I watch/listen to these things every year (minus a couple of years when I couldn't stand listening to Garrett) and I can honestly say that was one of the worst ones I can ever remember. Ever. That had to be a record low amount of actual football discussion. There was a question about Mazi and boozemaker being healthy for camp, and there one one about the running backs room, and that was it. The rest of it was purely about holdouts, contracts, and Jerry defending himself with his usual hillbilly go-to phrases. Yuck.
