Kyrie playing like ass is the main reason this series isn't 1-1. If he can play to 80% of his potential I think they could win 4 of 5, but the Celtics length is just bothering him too much.
Kyrie is killing me.

Luka is killing me too. He has Magic Johnson assists sometimes but he gets careless with the ball.

Really weird series with these 4th quarter Mavs runs just to fall a bit short, along with the uneven officiating leading to Doncic fouling out for the literally the first time ever in the playoffs.

Boston is clearly the better team but I think if Kyrie had played anywhere near this level over the first two games it'd be no worse than 2-1 Celtics.

The real issue for me is that Boston had quite literally the softest road to the finals that I can ever remember, so going back at least 25 years. They're definitely very good but something about this feels hollow.

Someone mentioned that Denver's playoff opponents from last year averaged something like 43 wins during the regular season. The 45-win Suns were the toughest opponent they had to go through.

Cushy runs to the Finals happen.

Odds that Dallas wins the next one?... 95%? Higher?

Is Boston really that good?

It does happen but I can't remember one this soft, and using Denver's opponents last year is definitely just someone looking to make a surface level point without any deeper analysis.

For example, Phoenix traded for Durant around the trade deadline and the Lakers made a big trade as well, both were significantly better post-trade than they were leading up to it. So while they may have only been 40-45 win regular season teams, they were likely closer to 50 win caliber teams after the trades.

Boston is very good but they're getting a good amount of ref luck these last two games (no call on the run down block on Washington in game 2 and Doncic fouling out on some questionable calls), plus Kyrie completely shitting the bed both games in Boston.

Denver had a really soft road last year too. Must be nice.

That is real, right? The Mavs have nothing to do with the Cowboys. As widespread as Cowboys fandom is, I doubt a quarter of Cowboys fans are Mavs fans.
theres probably a high fan crossover in the Dallas metro area.
