Being focused on your job isn't an excuse for being unprofessional. Being 37 (this is making it out like it's basically 19 or something) doesn't excuse being unprofessional - he's plenty old enough to know how to conduct business.

And at the very least his agent dropped the ball by not smoothing things over, but rather texting them while they were on the the plane to go interview him.

It's a bad look no matter how they try to spin it.

I don't blame the Redskins for being upset over it. They waited for him in good faith, and then he says no thanks after it's too late to land several other possible candidates.

They tried to get Kubiak first who is with SF now, but I think he's only been there a year.

As far as I can tell Atlanta only played Arizona once when they were both there so I think Quinn is just full of shit.
