Depends.

I think it is because the hope just kills you.

I think we're in similar positions in that regard but let's be honest, most of us here have that waiting-for-the-other-shoe-to-drop approach to the Cowboys because we know that the way the team is run is going to hurt as at one point or another.

But that's different from expecting heartache. You probably expect to get hurt again, but you genuinely have hope that it'll be different this time.

That's what Red Sox age Cubs fans were for so long and that's where Bills fans are now.

So yeah, I think it is harder being a Bills fan right now.

Just for the fact that they've never won (and should have if not for the original wide right), it's harder for them.

Yeah, that original wide right has to be the most devastating moment for just about any sports fanbase. They've endured a lot over the past thirty three or so years, but that missed kick still has to sting.

Would’ve been more devastating if that occurred during the fourth Super Bowl.Tough loss, for sure, but there was optimism for the next year.

In that way, maybe Emmitt Smith’s SB 28 drive and TD was an even worse feeling.

Who knows. Don’t care.

I have to admit I was completely wrong about Dan Campbell. I thought he was a terrible hire but he's done a tremendous job building that team into his likeness.
Campbell has done great, but the true test of his coaching ability will be to see how the team holds up after they lose that genius offensive coordinator.

Why did you think he was a bad hire?

Probably because he isn't exactly a brilliant offensive mind or defensive mind. He is just a great manager of the team though.

Most teams look for a head coach who is the best offensive or defensive coordinator in the NFL. But those guys don't always make the best head coaches.

Since 1996 only three NFC teams without an NFCC game appearance -- Dallas, Washington and Detroit. Now there are only two.

Both TB and Detroit showed more grit and heart in this game than Jerry's shithouse team.
And Washington has new ownership that may prove to be competent.
