Since the 90's, we've never had assassins on either side of the ball. The team leader who stepped up when the pressure was on. I thought maybe that was Parsons, but it's not. Romo folded when the pressure got too high, and Dak is somehow worse.
We've consistently had teams that punch down well, but never punch up. When was the last time this team did something like GB just did? Big underdog, on the road and came out throwing haymakers. Maybe ending Brady's career last year but BFD.
Maybe we should have seen this coming. I was mocking who the Packers beat coming into this game. We beat up on a cratering Eagles team, barely beat a Seattle team that didn't make the playoffs, were not competitive against the Bills, and probably should have lost to Detroit. Neither side of the ball looked good over the last half of the season unless we were playing the NFC East
