Collins could easily be cooked but he also started all year for a team that should've probably made the SB last season, that's not insignificant.

He's a salvage project but he's also just 30 and if he can regain some sort of form he could be a potential starter going into 2024, especially if Steele doesn't improve significantly.

As much as Goof Son talks about being a 24-7-365 GM, we all know that is not fucking true.

And I do think that we as fans, well some of us, need to just take a few moments to educate themselves.

The real focal point is that fans we think like this is all a vacuum.

It's not some inspiring move but there's no real skin on the table (as Stephen likes it) with feasible upside, even if it's not especially likely.

I'm not high on Cook. Besides declining physically, something else looks off to me, like he doesn't want to play that much anymore. Like it's only about the check.

But I'd take him over that turd Collins. I have no use for players as lazy as him. It goes beyond not being good anymore. We don't need that attitude or example here.

Plus like booze said, it just screams laziness from the FO to default back to a Garrett era player. Yuck. I hope this didn't come straight from Jerry, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I agree. It's not like we have multiple options. Should we have done something sooner? Absolutely, but these are low risk moves. The money is negligible and there's no long term commitment.

This guy is way overstating the situation. They need a body with Tyler going down. This is about the best Olineman currently available.
