Garrett's decision to open a restaurant in Dallas tells me that he's one of those guys who struggles to read the room.

If he were to open a restaurant immediately after his retirement it would have made sense because he was still considered a local legend at that time. But after that decade run as the Cowboys HC, I'd be willing to bet most fans in the DFW area despise him.

not gonna succeed, especially if people know Garrett is the owner. He's not a popular person.
He'd seriously be better off being a silent owner. And he needs to resist the urge to name the restaurant after himself.

It's stupid. He isn't "confined" anywhere. Yes he can play LB, vastly better than anyone else we have back there, but he is a game changer on the edge.
Yep. "If you can't move a potential DPOY to a (much) less valuable position, then drafting him was questionable" is idiotic.

I would not mind him playing more at LB when teams are running the ball down our throats. He can absolutely be a game changer at LB also (yes less impact theoretically but his pass rush has zero impact when the opponent is running the ball).

I can't believe with the records we've had the last three years that every single year we're talking about McCarthy's job.

I swear he's gotten more heat than Garrett did, and that fraud had three straight 8-8 years when the division sucked.
