'Ever' may be too strong, but let's say the next HOF running back (non-Seniors Committee) after Adrian Peterson isn't in the NFL now.

I think there's a chance for guys like McCaffery (maybe even a good chance) and Henry. Too soon to tell on guys like Bijan.

A LOT.

Fully guaranteed contracts in football are foolhardy to begin with.

For Watson after sitting for a year was retarded.

I forgot about Derrick Henry, but, unfortunately, not enough elite years. I think too late for McCaffrey, already at 27 years old. He'd have to go apeshit in upcominng two postseasons to make up for his lost games, which I'm not at all about hoping for.

Another RB I forgot about.....of the known RBs past and present sans Adrian Peterson, I'd say Marshawn Lynch has the best chance but he's no media darling.

Hell, I'd take Marshawn Lynch over Frank Gore, but HOF weighs longevity too much.

I'd take Watson over paying for Derek Carr or Garoppolo.
