Despite Boozemun’s complaints, they’ve done a great job taking care of business vs weaker opponents.Point differential has proven to be a good predictor, and the way to run that up is to crush bad teams and not squeak by them, which is exactly what we've been doing.
so much for the low hanging fruit, now do the hard work of predicting who will send us home.
I would say that pretty much all of them would have been much closer games under the clapper. He always pushed that bullshit about lining up man for man and just being better, but the fact is, as a coach you should put your people in a situation that makes them better than they actually are, and he wasn't able to do that. McCarthy does. He isn't perfect, by any stretch, but he is head and shoulders better than what we had previously dating all the way back to Jimmy.Despite Boozemun’s complaints, they’ve done a great job taking care of business vs weaker opponents.
Most of these games would have been a lot closer during the previous coaching regime.
I think there's a reasonable path to at least make the NFC Championship game if they remain as the 5th seed.
That would give them a wildcard game vs the NFC South champ, likely New Orleans, and a Division Round game vs the Eagles. Assuming the Eagles hold on to the #1 seed.
The Cowboys are used to playing in Philly so the atmosphere won’t affect them like it would non-division opponents. Plus Dak’s been stellar vs the Eagles throughout his career.
Just gotta pray they don't have to cross paths with the 49ers.
I'd go as far as to say we are firmly top 3. The weird part is I think we are right on par with the Eagles but worse than the 49ers. Even though the Eagles have the best record.I agree with Geng. Things haven't changed that much. This is a top 3-4 team in the NFC. Nothing really matters except how they do in the playoffs.
Still early yet. I want to see what they do with Seattle. There is no reason they shouldn't destroy that team, but they are good enough to be at least a small indicator of success in my opinion. I have my doubts as well, but I am not going to let that stop me from enjoying what so far has turned out to be a memorable season.I don't have a good feeling about that even. I just don't trust this team.
I agree. I think this team is capable of beating anyone, but it's a matter of showing up, and also a little bit of luck. I don't think the Eagles can beat Dallas in Dallas, though. It was too damned close in their house, so I think in ours they come out on the short end.I'd go as far as to say we are firmly top 3. The weird part is I think we are right on par with the Eagles but worse than the 49ers. Even though the Eagles have the best record.
I don't trust them either. Just pointing out the path is a little easier than last year's.I don't have a good feeling about that even. I just don't trust this team.
Same here. The Eagles game was a coin flip, and plenty of their metrics aren't that impressive.I'd go as far as to say we are firmly top 3. The weird part is I think we are right on par with the Eagles but worse than the 49ers. Even though the Eagles have the best record.
Just have to get to that position again and hope things break right, which they eventually will if we give ourselves enough chances.
Too late.I’d trade Waletzko and Ferguson for Howell
Maybe next week he will feel extra dangerous
This should piss off every Jets fan. "Roll"? Boyle does not "roll".

Ferguson has been pretty good for us.I’d trade Waletzko and Ferguson for Howell
I agree, as long as Quinn is back next year I expect us to be just as good while the Eagles are seemingly likely to lose Kelce, which would be a huge blow to their offense.I believe this. The thing that people get stuck on is the fact that it's been 30 years since we won so that makes everyone impatient (myself included).
But the right approach is to keep knocking on the door, not to just blow the whole thing up just because we've been stalling mid playoffs.
And he will get better.Ferguson has been pretty good for us.
He does with each passing game,And he will get better.
