Megatron and Stafford were unbelievably wasted in Detroit. That combination of pure arm and unique receiving talent on it's own would be nearly impossible to replicate-- very, very rare.

Disregard any lasting impression based off a game vs a team as bad as New York is this year.
Beat a team on the road that has a winning record (Buffalo, Miami) and I'll start paying attention.Disregard any lasting impression based off a game vs a team as bad as New York is this year.
I'm more encouraged by the team's steady improvement, particularly the offense's, since San Francisco.
I think if we can fix Terence Steele, we have a shot to do a lot of damage in the playoffs.
you have to consider the shitty ending, against the shitty opponent. Then the next series went 3 and out.Agreed, the drive was perfect. The ending just sucked.

I will be frustrated any time we fail 4 times inside the 5 yard line.

I mean he isn't that old. 25 years old, in his second year in the NFL. Wondering if there are some attitude issues because I think he showed some promise as a rookie.
Martavis special?
He will get claimed well before our spot. And if he goes unclaimed, buyer beware.

This was obvious to pretty much anybody paying attention, I think McCarthy just loved Dowdle way more than most (or all).Listening to the Fan today I heard a couple of things that were interesting.
First Skip Peete told them on his way out that if they wanted to feature Tony Pollard then they would need to get a second RB. Team ignored that evidently.
Second the guys on the radio said that Pollard admitted 3 different times last year that he was a 15 carry guy and after 15 he was done. I don't know what the done means exactly. Either he is saying that is all he wants or he is admitting to what the doubters think of him.
Just more evidence that the FO dropped the ball on the position.
I found it interesting that it was blatantly put out there and nothing done. I do like Dowdle as a #2 now but nobody knew that going in. It took a last minute decision for him to even be on the team. The FO just continues to handicap the team everytime you turn around. This was obvious to pretty much anybody paying attention, I think McCarthy just loved Dowdle way more than most (or all).

I remember that from last year and I think that turned out to be not true. I think they are referring to this and misremembering:

Cowboys running backs coach Skip Peete told Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Pollard said he was "done" after 30 plays in Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears.
"[Pollard] played a total of 30 plays, and I think that’s his max—as far as total play count— because then the juice doesn’t become the same and he’s not as quick, not as fast," Peete said of the 25-year-old.
And Pollard's response:

Cowboys' Tony Pollard disagrees with RB coach on maximum snap load: 'Whatever they need me to do, I got it'
Pollard says he was joking when he told Skip Peete he was done for the day after a 54-yard touchdown runwww.cbssports.com
Week 9, the Cowboys finally had an opportunity to see what Pollard looked like when given a feature back role as Elliott sat out with a knee injury; but curiously, he played only 53% of the snaps against the Chicago Bears. (He still took his 15 touches for 147 total yards and three touchdowns.) When asked about it, Cowboys running backs coach Skip Peete told reporters that he feels Pollard has around a 30-snap-per-game maximum because he becomes not quite as effective after that.
Pollard seemingly disagrees. "I definitely can do more" than 30 snaps, Pollard said, per the Dallas Morning News. "I'm pretty sure he didn't mean exactly a 30-play cutoff."
