Yea and then when you have one team called for about 12 penalties and the other with zero it leads to people questioning the integrity of the game, and with good reason.
I didn't even think it was possible to accomplish zero penalties. And no the offsetting one with the Eagles shouldn't count.

Yep, some games (like our last one) have 100 penalties while the Eagles have zero?

What a joke. I guess the NFL can become the NBA and call some on Philly the next time they play a tomato can to "make up" for it and get all the noticers off their back.
I think the NFL situation is worse than the NBA since the officiating plays such an outsized role in the outcome. Officiating in every sport is bad from time to time but the extreme litigious nature of the NFL refs combined with the inconsistency and constant shifting of goalposts makes it almost impossible to enjoy games without noticing their impact.

The Colts and Dolphins were both jobbed hard.

Well I'll disagree about NBA refereeing, I think it's the worst of any major sport by far and often seems outright crooked.

But I hate how inconsistent NFL officiating is. I've complained ad nauseum about the sheer number of penalties... It's pathetic to have a flag every third or fourth play, and to have to wait several seconds for a flag before you can even enjoy a big play.

Hopefully that Eagles stat of zero penalties is so egregious that it gets plenty of attention and embarrasses the league at least a little.

Yea the league never really cares unless it becomes a public outroar, and at this point I think most fans just watch casually for fantasy/betting purposes and don't really give a shit beyond that.

The lack of caring about the actual sport will only further bastardize it as the league looks to cater to the masses.

OMG, it's the league-wide officiating conspiracy fever dream. Quick! Get out the tin-foil hats!

And y'all should be careful what you post on this board. The league is watching, listening, taking notes.
Not sure what tin foil has to do with calling out officiating as awful. But ok, good one. Someone who believes a team having no penalties is "normal" might be the crazy one.

It would be nice if the league was listening. Tell them to listen to Twitter.

The league only cares about revenue. Much like Jerry Jones, as long as the money rolls in, they won't really change.
All they need to do to address many of the issues is hire fulltime, dedicated refs. That would help a lot.
