so now you're confident. Im confused.
It's easy to be confident in September. January is where this team needs to step up.

Health, health, health. Depth, depth, depth. It's easy to be confident in September. January is where this team needs to step up.
They were a few plays away from winning the Super Bowl so I wouldn't say frauds, but their success was completely unsustainable and they had a huge amount of luck on their side all year.Don't let him bully you into it.
They were and are frauds.

Love that film.Shit. They've gotten to you, too.
That’s my thought. Keep in contention and breakthrough will occur at a point.I expect rings. Not every year, but when you contend for rings consistently you should be breaking through every once in a while.

Immutable law of averages? I’ve grown old waiting, and I have Jerry and Garrett to thank for that. I trust in MM and Quinn to finally take us to the promised land. Will it though?
Or will we have to wait 108 years like the Cubs?
Yesterday I was reminded that this clown is their OC.
Aaron Rodgers is responsible for the only real success Hackett's seen throughout his entire coaching career. Without Rodgers his career has been very unremarkable. He's not a 'turn water into wine' type of coach like Kyle Shanahan.
Nathaniel Hackett + Zach Wilson will probably equate to a bottom 10 offense.
Bet the over. Cowboys by 12 on Sunday.
Maybe the stats don’t reflect it, but it FEELS like the Cowboys lose to a lot of teams they shouldn’t lose to. But that could just be a feeling. It's funny, I see people say we lose to teams we shouldn't. I see people say we can't beat the really good teams. In the end it's amazing we can win games at all. People just dramatize this stuff. We don't lose to bad teams anymore than anyone else. And during the regular season we have shown we can beat some top teams.
The reality of all this is we have been a really good regular season team for a long time. We just haven't had the playoff success to go with it. Not Dak, not Romo, not anyone since Aikman was here. Until we win in the playoffs that tag is probably the one we actually deserve.
It's certainly possible. But this is where I'm going to place a little faith in having an experienced OC in Dak's ear for a change.I have a feeling Dak will struggle against this defense.
Maher was kicking for the Rams last weekend. Did I miss him getting released?
Sign Maher you cowards.
The Jets are a top 3 defense in the league with arguably the best secondary in the league, so yea, I'm sure it'll be a struggle for the offense at times. It'd be more of a shock if the offense just breezed through the game. It's certainly possible. But this is where I'm going to place a little faith in having an experienced OC in Dak's ear for a change.
I've probably pointed it out at least 10 times on this site, even before he was fired, that Kellen Moore typically had no answers when he had to match wits with top shelf defensive coordinators. Kellen Moore never had to earn the job through competence or mettle. The OC position was just handed to him. And that lack of experience was exposed frequently by the league's better DCs.
I'm banking on a seasoned coach (McCarthy) being able to have Dak and the entire offense better prepared for a match up of this magnitude.
For the record I'm not implying that Dak and the offense will easily drop 30 on their defense. What I'm saying is I think they'll score in the low 20s, which is a lot more than Kellen Moore led offenses typically put up in matchups like this. The Jets are a top 3 defense in the league with arguably the best secondary in the league, so yea, I'm sure it'll be a struggle for the offense at times. I'm just looking for Dak and the coaches to manage the game, show patience, and take our shots here and there. As long as we don't give them life through turnovers we'll eventually pull away.
Now, if the offense struggles the next few weeks against Arizona, New England and the Chargers then I'll be concerned.
Yea it'll be interesting because they're running a similar defense to the 49ers schematically, which of course we've struggled against in recent years. Then obviously we play the 49ers a few weeks later. For the record I'm not implying that Dak and the offense will easily drop 30 on their defense.
