I'm not arguing if he played scared or not. Or whether he came thru or not. Or whether if you think he was the MVP or not. No clue why you feel you have to throw all that crap in. All I was talking about was a possible reason as to why he wasn't taking the running yards when it looked open.

And if you think he was moving around just fine, there's not much more to say. I guess when people are hobbling around, limping and struggling just to hand a ball off, in your world that's moving around just fine.

Except for one play he wasn't "hobbling around or struggling just to hand the ball off". But, thanks for throwing the hyperbole out there. I threw that other stuff in there because it's true and part of how I felt he played. God forbid I add my entire opinion to a post. I should either just say he was an MVP or he sucked monkey nuts. Obviously there can't be any in between.

Romo is having MRI on back due to an injuury he incured in the game yesterday. It is a different problem than before.

The defense really wasn't that bad yesterday, they didn't even give up 300 yards of offense. There were times when we couldn't stop the Skins running game but outside of Garcon going up against a sick Carr they really couldn't do much.

We're probably going to lose next week but like was said earlier the Eagles aren't immune from playing a shit game, especially on the road. You just have to hope the defense can play above their heads for one game at home.

There isn't really any point to making the playoffs but a demented part of me would love to see us go play in Seattle just to see how badly we get our asses beaten.

Except for one play it looked like he was moving fine. He left yards on the field on multiple occasions. And, if there was ever a game where you put it all on the line it was yesterday, and then again next Sunday. He should have ran the ball on multiple plays where he didn't.
He may not have run with open field in front of him, but his elusive Jedi moves were in FULL effect. Classic spin, step up, throw Romo.

Yeah, I think the defense will define our game next week. If they go up early we may never run the ball. Although, behind by 9 we still stuck with the run yesterday, so maybe Garrett has turned a corner. Probably not, but one can hope.

What one play are you talking about? The final TD pass? If so, then that would fit your all or nothing scenario, wouldn't it? The other plays in the game wouldn't, as there was still a lot of game left to be played. Pick your spots, type of thing.

And what hyperbole? WTF were you watching? Did you not see him struggling to get around, the replays of him struggling to hand the ball to Murray?

As for adding your opinion, at the time, WGAS? It had nothing to do with what we were talking about. I was talking about one single, solitary thing. Not whether Romo deserved a game ball.

There's no way he's turned a corner, when they showed the boxscore from the first Eagle game last night it reminded me how we hardly ran all game despite leading for the majority of the game, Romo threw it 47 times in that game.

We'll see what happens, it'll be a relatively low stress game for me personally because even if we lose I know Garrett is out so it's whatever.

Loved the win yesterday but everyone is just setting themselves up by being sucked back in hoping for a win next Sunday. Beating the Redskins and in the comeback fashion we did was great just to have them have their hearts ripped out at the end.

But don't forget that's a 3-12 team. And pointing to the Eagles losing last week to Minny is irrelevant, because imo that only served as a wakeup call for them. If they'd been up and down the last two months then it might mean something, but it was just one blip over that time for them.

And looking at us, our defense has been ripped repeatedly this year. In the last 3 weeks, both the Bears and Packers, with backup QB's scored TD's on every 2nd half possession against us, up until they needed to just kneel down.

The only chance we have is to win a shootout, but that's highly unlikely, especially given the do-or-die scenario and needing us to avoid turnovers and dumb mistakes that often plague us, especially in these situations.

The biggest difference between this year and the last two is that if we lose we actually may have some hope going into the offseason instead of knowing it's going to be status quo like we had to deal with the last couple of years. I'll definitely hope we somehow pull out a win, but in reality it's probably best to see this coaching staff hit the road.

I think he means we don't call enough designed rollouts for Romo.

Stafford should really been getting the Romo treatment. That dude has been brutal in December games.

No one cares about the Lions though so I don't expect the media to spend a lot of time talking about it, but man he's been bad. He's starting to remind me of Jeff George.
Yep. When SportsCenter started their highlights of that game they were first talking about how Stafford was worse than Romo has historically been in December and then they took it to the next level and threw in the entire Lions team. But yeah, it's Detroit and no one outside of Michigan cares.

The one play I was talking about was the play where he didn't pull up his sock and barely was able to get the ball to Murray on the run the following play. Besides that he was moving fine. He should have run the ball on 3-4 other plays in the game. Period. Season is on the line, you give it everything you have inside of you. Romo didn't do that all game. Yet, he did come through in the end, which is why I added it to my original post.

Agreed. Philly isn't so good that they can't lay an egg but their O vs. the Cowboys D is going to look a lot different than the last time these two teams met. I have no doubt that Philly is going to put 40 on the Cowboys. Something along the lines of 41–24 is about what I expect. Different season, same group of losers. Sad but true.

I know you're a pretty optimistic guy, but do you honestly think there is any chance whatsoever of this defense repeating that performance again?

The way this defense is playing coupled with the way Philly is scoring, I'd consider it a victory if the Cowboys somehow kept them under 30 points.
Sure...we could hold him down. I don't worry much about smaller backs with the defense...guys like Morris and Lacy concern me more.

But don't forget that's a 3-12 team.
But when these two teams get together, you can throw the records out the window!
