He’s got at least whatever Rush has, ability wise.

I mean he is physically more talented than Rush. But I think Rush does a better job making the right reads and managing a game. I don't think that much really separates the two. But I guess what Rush did last year sort of locks that backup job for him.

I don't know but playing a full game against backups would have been an excellent developmental opportunity for Lance. It's unfortunate that the trade couldn't have been made a couple weeks ago.

Lance is just a flier. He has more arm talent and mobility than Grier could ever hope for. So there is that.
