I think people who point this stuff out miss the actual point. I know that plenty of people want AB to tank as well, but the message that people are tired of this stuff is sent solely by Bud Light tanking (because Bud Light is the brand that made the ad).

As an aside I noticed a Bud ad during the game last night, associating Bud with football, like they always used to do. They're trying really hard to rehabilitate that image. It's really clear that the message was sent. Modelo or whatever other AB brand doesn't matter.

Yeungling is so infinitely better than Bud they could hardly be considered the same product.

Went to an Oktoberfest yesterday where they had a pumpkin hard cider. I was skeptical but tried it and it was pretty solid. Made by Mackenzie’s. Probably a local brewer.

I tried a couple of ciders about 10 years ago and didn't really enjoy them. Haven't had any since.

Maybe I'll give ciders another try to see if it was just the brand and flavor that I didn't like.
