I actually suggested that exact thing a few months ago during the season. Harris would pair well with Jeanty or if we waited until later and got someone like Sampson, Henderson from OSU, etc.

But we already know damn good and well these guys aren't spending more money to bring in an external guy over someone like Dowdle who has been around for years.

Yeah, this is the kind of move that would make sense and probably be very effective. Not to mention how much pressure it would take off Dak. Sometimes I have to remind myself that the Jones boys will do absolutely nothing in FA except a few clearance rack moves. It never changes, if anything it's getting worse.

We didn't even do that last off season. We waited until the season was about to start and then we're like, OK, guess we need warm bodies.
