Election Chatter Thread...

yes sir, that's it, thank you

What I don't understand is why this got no coverage, the video claims she is working for a Republican so you'd think that would cause some to take notice but it seems to be ignored by national media.

Maybe its BS but seems worthy of critique and investigation regardless of which party you're voting for
You answered your own question.

not to my understanding, what's your take?

If we accept the premise that the media leans left, then this would be a prime opportunity to pounce on the right yet we got crickets

The lady in the video is showing the elderly lady that she needs to vote straight Democrat... I didn't watch the whole thing though so maybe I missed something.

Edit

Watched a bit more. I'm still confused why it started out with her helping someone vote straight Democrat but then as it goes she clearly says she is working for a Republican candidate. I seriously wonder how much someone like that gets paid. That's a shit ton of work. No way they do that voluntarily.

Pretty convenient that Michigan discovered a “glitch” in their system that padded Biden’s count with thousands of votes.

This is the shit I’m talking about. We live in a fallen world. We’re all human. Not everyone returns the bag of cash or wallet they find stuffed with money. That shit is real.

We need a more secure system that eliminates bias and human error.

This is my take. We f'ing live in the year 2020 and we are still counting votes by hand. That's silly to me.

Third World countries do a better job. This is also why there's no uniformity in the fight against Covid. Every state does its own thing.

Did you guys use a paper ballot or those electronic credit card things? I went with paper.

they gave me a paper ballot I stuck in a machine and then voted for each candidate via touch screen and then went to another area where a machine read my long paper ballot.

I think that machine ate the ballot too but I cant remember for sure, seems like I might have handed it to someone---did anyone vote in Dallas this way and remember what you did with your ballot once you finished at the voting booth?

I did the same thing save for the touch screen part. The weird thing is that they don't give you a receipt when you vote here in Maryland. A sticker, but no receipt.

Yep thats how it was for me too

In GA we were given a credit card with a chip, like we've been using for 20 years.

You put it in the machine and make your selections.

What was different this year is that each machine has its own dedicated printer, where your selections are printed out.

You have to verify that your selections are correct, and you turn in your card and the print out.

They add the card back to the pile, but the print out is scanned in to what looked like a curbside trashcan.
