Tony Romo told Tom Brady 'see you in February' after the Cowboys were blown out
By: Nick Schwartz | October 14, 2015 6:04 pm
The Dallas Cowboys lost by 24 points at home to the New England Patriots Sunday to fall to 2-3 on the season, and on Tuesday the team decided that Matt Cassell will replace Brandon Weeden as the team's starting quarterback. Despite all that, injured star Tony Romo is confident that the Cowboys are headed to the Super Bowl.
As the Patriots and Cowboys exchanged embraces before walking off the field, Romo patted Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on the chest and told him "see you in February," seemingly alluding to a Cowboys-Patriots matchup in Super Bowl 50. A microphone from Showtime's Inside The NFL picked up the exchange.
Brady: "Hope you feel better."
Romo: "See you in February."
It's a bold statement for Romo to make, no doubt, but isn't entirely implausible. The NFC East is wide open, and if the team can stay afloat until Romo and Dez Bryant return, the Cowboys will be a dangerous team.

Arrogant in the least. Anyone hear the quote on Inside the NFL? I missed it.
