Who would you realistically want to target?

I feel like we could really use a DT and a safety. Shocker... Wonder who we could get?

Other than that, I don't see us with any huge needs unless we can trade for a new HC.

OJ Howard would be nice, I'd even take Cameron Brate for a late round pick and be happy about it. But in all likelihood no trade will be made, might as well start watching Curtis Weaver and Javon Kinlaw if you want to dream about upgrading the roster.

Spawn of drunk GM hinted the team would spend the week looking around for potential roster upgrades, but didn't say what they were and said nothing was imminent.

I said it weeks ago, they should call the Jets about DL Leonard Williams. Safety makes all sorts of sense but we know they wont do it.

Geno Atkins is the guy I'd look at. He's 31 and the Bengals just gave him a big extension two years ago so they may look to offload him for cheap if they're trying to clear the decks. I don't love that he has 3 years left on the deal and will be 34 when it expires but he's still a Pro Bowl caliber player and should be for another year or two.

Yeah the undefeated team with a ridiculously elite defense keeps adding pieces. We need to keep pace or we're gonna flame out again even if we manage to sneak into the playoffs.

I've never really seen teams offload talented players to winning teams like they are this year. It kind of ruins the integrity of the game when you have teams just tanking like this.

Sanu isn't really an elite player by any means. He's basically a good number 2/possession WR, the Falcons are 1-6 and considering that Sanu is 30 I'd argue that a 2nd for him is an overpay. The Patriots don't mind because their window with Brady could close tomorrow but it's a good deal for the Falcons. I could also easily argue the Ramsey/Fitzpatrick deals were overpays by the Rams/Steelers, so it's not like the Redskins are out here trading Trent Williams for a 6th, these deals are generally good value for the teams offloading players.

Keep in mind a 1st from the Pats is the last pick in the second round most likely. But yeah, I guess that's a decent trade. But Sanu is a quality player. The Pats are definitely going for broke this year.

I read Emanual Sanders was traded to Niners for 3rd and 4th rd picks, and Lions traded S Quandre Diggs to Seattle.

Not sure why Zoners were creaming their pants over Diggs though. I know its mainly because he isn't Jeff Heath, but dude has exactly zero picks and zero passes defensed this year.

Supposedly Bengals brass was meeting today about players they might be willing to move. Geno Atkins is older but interesting for the right price.

I'd still love to see us pursue Leonard Williams.

I would love either. I think a real 3 tech in this defense could be a serious game changer for us. We have 2 excellent DEs.

There is at least a chance for a DT with Crawford going down. This team loves Heath too much to move for a safety. But to me if you can fix the defense I'd try and make a push now. Dak is having an excellent season. Take advantage

I'd love for us to move for one but Marinelli will probably say they don't have enough twitch and we like our guys. He seriously has way too much say over our player acquisitions on defense. Fuck him and his newest project Hill
