Zeke and Pollard the latest edition of power and speed.

Would like to see them out there as a tantum more often.

Bronko and Grange were an interesting pair of young men.

William Andrews and Lynn Cain
Moose and Emmit
John Riggins and Joe Washington
Chuck Muncie and James Brooks
Icky Woods and James Brooks (not really, but I like listing Brooks twice)
Ricky Watters and Charlie Garner (for like, a minute)
Rathman and Watters
Ron Dayne and Tiki Barber
Walker and Dorsett? Maybe, though Walker was Thunder and Lightning both-- same with Bo and Marcus Allen

The clearest example though you haven't mentioned IMO is Mike Alstott and Warrick Dunn

This is not a discussion of RB/FB combos.

More like RB1 and RB2.

Doesn't matter actually, it's when ya have a power cat and a speed guy.

I didn't mention Jim Taylor and Paul Hornung because neither was a speed guy.

Didn't mention Tank Younger and Deacon Dan Towler because they were both big and fast.

Csonka and Morris and Alstott and Dunn, would be the classic examples.

I posted this in another thread and I stole this from Reddit but the gist of it is:

Zeke is like a wrecking ball.

Pollard moves fast and changes direction quickly, like an elevator in an elevator shaft.

Ball and Shaft.
