Yeah, every time there is a stinky pile of guts outside the door, at first I think this is gross, and then I remember that is one less mouse that could get in my house. A good outdoor cat is great. You only need one though, don't get crazy.

We had mice when I first bought my house. Not a single one since the cat snuck in the engine compartment of my car and hitched a ride to my house.

And suddenly I'm having flashbacks to waking up in the morning when I was single.

This is my dog, Marley. To say she’s a sweetheart of a dog doesn’t really describe it properly. She’s the best. We got her because some weirdos bought her from a puppy store and decided they didn’t want her after a couple of days. And puppy stores don’t do refunds, so they sent her to the shelter I volunteer at. She was 6 weeks old then, she’ll be 2 in November.

I don't even know if puppy stores can legally sell them at 6 weeks old here. Not sure who in this world would want to get rid of a puppy that small. Now when they get to 16 weeks old or so some people start realizing that a puppy is a hell of a lot more of a responsibility than they realized. It's that older puppy stage in my opinion that can get a little difficult.

But at 6-10 weeks old you basically have the most adorable little thing ever. Then they become shitheads for a little bit (Some more than others) and then they outgrow that and they become easier again.
