Why would they wait even if it was locked? Kick that mother fucker down. They have no problem doing that in other instances. Even if it's a reinforced door, they have the means to breach them.

Can't remember if I was discussing it here or not but I've wondered how much being small town cops who aren't used to dealing with intense situations like this played a role in them freezing up. Because we've seen cops in major cities kick down plenty of doors over a couple of pounds of drugs.
