Wiki says he was on the roster all year.
No wonder I thought he was cut -- he stayed on the roster but never played a single down after the Redskins game.

I was at that game. That was when I quit smoking, believe it or not.

So some good did come out of that night.
I was there too. What a fiasco, ruined Dez’ debut. I tell you, Fuck Jason Garrett and Fuck Tashard Choice.

I started to celebrate on that last play, then a Washington fan leans over my shoulder and quietly says “Penalty, holding. The game is over”

Man, Fuck that fan too.

He should've been cut, but that would have been embarrassing to the Joneses. Would have made it too obvious that the guy they traded for was a total stiff who couldn't play at all.

Wade was a few games later. :dunce
That game was when my hatred for Garrett began. I remember he ducked the media for a couple of days so he wouldn't have to answer why he made such a braindead play call in that situation. Instead he let Wade take the heat for it. Just the beginning of that orange turd showing his true colors.

Yeah pretty much the same thing here... I was in the cheap seats right above the endzone where that happened... and everyone started pointing to the flag and laughing. FML that was a miserable walk out of that stadium. Almost as bad as the 2006 game.

Props. But how the hell did you stop smoking that night?

Chaz Green is a good answer, but I think I'd go with Babe Laufenberg against the Eagles in 1990. That performance is forever etched into my nightmares.
