I love CeeDee and he is a top 10ish WR but he just isn’t dominant like Chase, Jefferson, Adam’s or St Brown. He gets shut down in games way too often.

Chase is the best in the league and it might not be very close.

He's way better than "top 10ish", he's a clear top 5-7 guy at the absolute worst, and arguably 3rd.

Chase and Jefferson are the top two but Lamb is much closer to those guys than he is 10th. He's in a group with guys like St. Brown, AJ Brown and Hill as just a tick below the top two, but a clear step above everybody else.

Pick best talent on the board regardless of the position. We need plenty of help at every position.

This is always a winning formula. I'd probably take OL off the board in the 1st but beyond that yeah, just take the best guy.

Smart teams use FA to make sure there's no glaring holes that may tempt you to reach for a position, but oh well. As you said, we have needs everywhere anyway.

I'd love Carter but I don't think we can afford to give up picks.
We might as well throw them away towards something better than Mingo or Lance.

Ok. I know we can't and we shouldn't. I just can't help myself wishing to pair him with Parsons.

Exactly.

If we're just going to continue to throw some of these important picks away for fucking nothing, then I'd rather us use them in a package deal to at least acquire a potential elite franchise player.

Problem is that pick is already thrown away. Besides moving up in the first would be a third or more.

Yeah, and we literally need bodies to fill all the holes this roster will have, even if they aren't great players.

As it is, Jerry and Cheap Son will probably expect these sixth rounders to start and play like Pro Bowlers as rookies. :doh

Yeah unless we sign some guys there just isn't enough bodies to play. It's like 1 DT on the roster, 1 RB on the roster and so on. Trading up is for teams that fill their holes in free agency.

Jefferson is a beast. Chase is a monster. But Lamb is right there.

CeeDee is QB-proof. He’s OC-proof. He has awesome hands and elite RAC ability. CeeDee plays hurt.

Adams is old and St Brown, while consistent is not in the same class of difference-maker.

I can only imagine what CeeDee would do with Burrow as his QB or if Dak wasn’t allergic to throwing contested balls.

Per Season
Chase: 98.75 catches, 1356.25, 11.5 TDs, 13.7 av
Lamb: 99.2 catches, 1267.8, 7.6 TDs, 12.8 av
Jefferson: 99 catches, 1486.4, 8 TDs, 15 av
St Brown: 107.5 catches, 1212.7, 8.25 TDS, 11.3 av

I have Jefferson>Chase>Lamb>Adams>St Brown

At this stage in their careers I would have the Sun God over Adams.

That's what UDFAs are for. Cheap bodies.

Forget Micah, he just admitted what we've thought for years - he thinks training camp is worthless. Except for marketing, of course.

I mean, there's no way Lamb missing all of camp didn't impact his slow start.

Absolute football moron.
