I will say I don't think it's a disaster despite me not liking it.

Ultimately we are coming away from trading Parsons with Williams and Clark, plus we traded our 2nd up in the 2026 draft to a first.

Eh. It feels like we should have done better. But it's ok.

It’s a substantial improvement over the Roy Williams trade anyhoo.

I think if you throw another 2 in there it's pretty much fair, but I said that when we traded Parsons so I think the issue was more so the return for Parsons and not necessarily what we gave up for Williams.

I hate that also, but I assume that's the only way they'd do the deal. And he is a hell of a player -- you aren't getting him for cheap.

And really, even if you specified which pick, there's no way of knowing which one would be higher anyway. Green Bay could have problems just like anyone else.

But probably more likely is we both have pretty good teams and neither of the picks is very high. I'd say that's at least as likely -- probably much more likely -- as someone having a disaster year. If you get Williams for a pick in the 20s plus a second rounder, that's pretty nice.
Sounds like we need to suck this year to land a top talent that can catalyze a return to the playoffs so we're handing NY a pick in the 20's.

Moved up ~15 spots in 2026 draft but probably moved down the same in 2027

should’ve done better = 2024 resign Parsons for sub $40M/yr
