He is dominant at times and a very good player all the time. Hopefully he can step it up and be dominant more often. But at worst he is a very good DE.
I consider dominant players to be among the very best at their position across the NFL.

Tank for example is just on the outside of being dominant defender, even at LDE. Consistently great, a leader, plays every down, hustles, top notch as a run defender, and must be accounted for by opposing offenses. He really proved that this year (again).

He would be even better if there was anyone else on the entire defense besides him whom opposing offenses would have to scheme against to account for.

There isn't anyone.

I am glad the way has finally been paved for Gregory to get an honest shot, but he has to step up by a great deal to take advantage of the opportunity to at last get some real consistent help for Lawrence.
