If we lose against the Steelers I'd guess he tries to come back and play 20 or so snaps against the Lions, if we win he probably sits through the bye.
Honestly we probably should just sit him through the bye week. Even if he wants to go he needs to ultimately just get healthy. If we lose both games, so be it. If we win one or both games without him, awesome, it means that this team has turned a corner on defense. Parsons is a great player but the next two weeks are going to be heavily about run defense. And Zimmer is just going to have to figure out how to manufacture pressure with what he has.

Yea I don't give too much of a fuck what happens this year so I think he should just sit until he's healthy so he isn't compounding the issue, with an eye on him being fully healthy in future years.

I'm just guessing what will happen, I'd bet he tries to play a few pass rush snaps against the Lions if we lose this week.

If it's up to Parsons I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to give it a go this week. But you can't leave this type of thing up to Parsons. He is a guy who will absolutely play hurt. But we need a healthy Parsons, not one gimping after Fields as he runs for a 16 yard gain.

speaking of stupid, the Steelers nabbed him for a 6th whereas we forked over a 4th for a guy who will never see the field
He would probably look like a lost idiot in our rigid offense. I don't think we would be able to adapt our offense to what Fields does.
